InSheeption

Insheeption is a cozy Blue Prince and Inception inspired puzzle and narrative game. Find out other animals' dreams, help them fulfill their wishes, and jump into a dreamy world where nonsense (almost) becomes normal.

Introduction

Cobb is a sheep which wool is so soft and smooth that the Sandman himself never wanted to shave them. Problem is, because of that they couldn’t jump over fences and help people fall asleep. 

Stuck in the dreamworld, they decided to use their magical sleepy powers to help people achieve their wishes in their dreams, connecting with them while Cobb sleeps. 

Gameplay Your objective here is to find animals, understand what is their dream and help them achieve it before waking up. Explore randomly chosen dream places, meet animals and find out what they dream of. The more you fulfill dreams, the more you will wake up happy the next day!

Characters

Cobb is warm and sweet, like a knitted wool sweater in winter. During the day, they are admired by other sheep but their condition makes it hard to accept. But what they do at night is worth every jump they can’t do.

They don’t speak much but listen well. And they are always caring about other people’s needs. Sometimes they are blue about their condition, but fulfilling dreams of sleepyheads (as they call them) makes Cobb happy.

Joy is a joyful and dynamic rabbit who never gives up on her mission. She is fully dedicated to bringing happiness to people around her, no matter what the place, setting or mood. She goes quickly from person to person to enlighten their day, staying with them all their life, never giving up on them until the bitter end. And she loves beaches, the sun and swimming in the sea.

Joy has golden hair. She’s constantly smiling and it never fades. And she seems to glow somehow everywhere she is.

Frank used to be a star child in an international TV Show. 30 years later, everyone forgot about him and he’s in a deep depression, seeing things in blue. He wants to introspect and find back who he really is, but to do so he needs to “go back to his element”, go green. And he’s fed up with people thinking he still only can count 2 by 2 and lace his shoes.

Red is a female shark having lost the sense of talking. She got hit by a container in the head and all she can say now is “Red”. Even when she dreams, it’s all about red this, red that, all red things maker her happy. Is it because her love of roses, bolognese pasta or her thirst of blood? We might never find out…

Winston, like all bears, likes honey. So he wants to find the best honey that is. And he’s heard that jungle bees are making it. So he wants to go wild in the jungle and get the best meal of his life!

We're a team of 9 French people also working on Hats and Guns. We decided to enter in the Cozy Jam although it was required to be only 3 people. We're not eligible for the cash prize but we're doing this for fun, so who cares ? Please leave a comment if you liked our game!
